Sponsoring Grassroots Canberra Sports
Fiducian Canberra is proud that one of its ongoing contributions to Canberra is sponsoring a player for the Gungahlin Jets AFL team. Player sponsorship is one way in supporting the Jets to continue fielding a team every season.
For the 2019 season, Fiducian Canberra has sponsored Sam Tonkes for the 2019 season and wish him and the team a successful year.
Fiducian Canberra Fasts For 40 For Fiji
Cyclone Winston devastated Fiji early in 2016 leaving 49 dead and 35,000 in evacuation centres. Therefore, six of the team at Fiducian Canberra (including the Financial Planners, John Hicks, Alex Wilson and Ian Hosking) have pledged themselves to "Fast For 40 Hours For Fiji".
Fiducian Canberra raised a total of $2,115.00. All donations raised were sent to the Red Cross' Tropical Cyclone Winston Appeal which funded emergency shelters, safe water, sanitation & other health measures. You can read more on our Fast by clicking on the picture!
MS Sydney to the Gong Ride
In November 2014, Financial Planners, John Hicks and Andrew participated in the MS Sydney to the Gong Ride riding from Newtown to Wollongong. Together they raised over $700 to support people with MS. Good work John and Andrew!
Annual Sponsors of the Services Golf Day
Fiducian Canberra has been an annual sponsor of the Services Golf Day at the Federal Golf Club for over 15 years.
The Services Golf Day is always held within a week of Anzac Day and recognises the contribution and sacrifices made by Defence personnel in serving our nation.
Support for Vision Beyond Aus
Our Licensee, Fiducian Financial Services played a key role in establishing the charity "Vision Beyond AUS”. Their aim is to restore eye sight to 100,000 people in developing countries.
Consequently, Fiducian Canberra staff have been long standing supporters to this cause and organisation.
Assistance for Local Charities
Fiducian Canberra provides expertise to the Boards/Investment Committees of several Charities & Not for Profit organisations.
We are also generally able to secure reduced management costs for these worthy organisations from investment managers.
