James Wearn

 

James has been part of the Fiducian Canberra team since 2019. As an Authorised Representative of Fiducian Financial Services, James is committed to providing personalised financial advice to allow his clients to reach their individual goals and objectives.

Prior to working with Fiducian, James worked for Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC or 'CommSuper') within both client facing and technical calculation capacity.  This experience provides James an intricate specialist knowledge across these schemes, whilst also understanding processes in place, to ensure things operate smoothly. This naturally led to financial planning, where he is a valued member of the close-knit Canberra team.

James has a passion for assisting people, by preparing their financial position, to enable their readiness to tackle key life events, including retirement.  James thrives on being a part of a team that helps people reach their financial goals.   The greatest satisfaction James receives as a Financial Adviser, is the knowledge that his advice and assistance makes a positive impact on people’s lives.   

James’ formal qualifications include:

 

  • Master of Financial Planning

  • Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning 

  • Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Arts Major in Political Science

  • Passed FASEA Code of Ethics exam as required under Corporations Act 2017

  • Accredited Behavioral Finance Professional (ABFP®)

  • Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®)
